Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal complaints, affecting people of all ages and activity levels. Because the shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body, it relies heavily on the coordination of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and the shoulder blade for stability. When any of these structures become irritated, injured, or overloaded, pain and restricted movement can develop.

Individuals with shoulder pain may notice difficulty lifting the arm, reaching overhead, carrying objects, or performing daily tasks such as dressing or sleeping comfortably on the affected side. Without proper assessment and treatment, shoulder pain can worsen over time and limit function.
