FAQs

Emily’s approach to reformer

I blend classical and contemporary Reformer Pilates with elements of dance and fitness to create balanced, flowing sessions. One-to-one sessions are fully tailored to the individual, whether that’s building strength in specific areas, improving flexibility, or enhancing general day-to-day movement. Everything is designed around you and your personal goals. In small group classes, I lead sessions that are effective, enjoyable, and adaptable for all levels.
Outside of the clinic......
Outside the studio, I enjoy staying active through gym training and have recently taken up running, alongside continuing to dance whenever I can. Movement has always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy exploring different ways to stay strong and mobile!
I was drawn to Pilates because of its roots in rehabilitating injured dancers. As a dancer who was often injured, I wanted a way to condition my body and train for longevity. With my Dance Science background and personal training knowledge, becoming a Reformer instructor felt like a natural progression for me. I love how it combines fluid, expressive movement with benefits like improved mobility, strength, and control, helping people move with confidence and ease.
I love seeing people achieve things they didn’t think they were capable of. Whether it’s building strength, improving movement, or simply feeling more confident, I love helping clients experience that positive, feel-good feeling at the end of a session!
